Cablone Celebrity Waiter Dinner

CABALONE Celebrity Waiter Dinner benefits Creative Arts Building

PITTSBURG – The all-volunteer nonprofit Pittsburg Creative Arts Building Corporation will host a fundraising CABALONE Celebrity Waiter Dinner on Saturday, Oct. 9.

The four-course dinner at the Community Presbyterian Church Social Hall, 200 E. Leland, Pittsburg features Abalone Piccata. The menu was created by Chef Patrick Robertson of Restaurant 615 in Pittsburg.

Celebrity waiters include Supervisor Federal Glover, Pittsburg Mayor Sal Evola, Pittsburg City Manager Marc Grisham, Olympic Gold Medalist Eddie Hart, PUSD Superintendent Linda Rondeau and the PUSD Board of Education, former Assemblyman Joe Canciamilla and Pittsburg Chamber of Commerce CEO Meredith Ladich.


Tickets are $50 or $400 for a table of eight that includes choice of waiter.

The dinner is sponsored by Mirant California, Pacific Coast General Engineering, Bloomfield Vineyards, Liberty Alehouse and Restaurant 615.

The Pittsburg Creative Arts Building Corporation has restored all 242 seats in the Creative Arts Building Little Theatre and 1,510 of the 2,000 seats in the main auditorium, which is Contra Costa County’s largest theater. The group has donated over 6,000 volunteer hours to the restoration project and provided over 10,000 free tickets to East County students for a variety of cultural events as well as 4,200 free books related to those events.
